Machinima to Exclusively Stream Diablo III Launch Party

By Lawrence Sonntag | 11 May 2012 | 6 Comments

Rather than spend the hours leading up to Diablo III’s launch in some sort of chemical-induced coma, why not spend it with us and Blizzard Entertainment? We’re streaming the official Diablo III launch party on Monday, May 14 from 8PM PST to midnight. Why end at midnight? Fuck it, we want to play the game too.

You can expect a whole lot more than four hours of “Man, Diablo III’s gonna be so awesome.” We’ll have Machinima Realm’s Hundar and Joel on hand to host the event, while Blizzard will be presenting game guides, lore Q&As, as well as heartfelt words from Blizzard Vice President of Creative Development Chris Metzen. If you’ve never heard Metzen give a speech before, it’s not something you want to miss.

So why spend the four agonizing hours before Diablo III running your installer over and over to see if it’s unlocked yet? Well, I guess you can do both, but the time will go by quicker with our stream I promise.

As usual, you can find our stream at http://www.machinimalive.com, and make sure to follow our Twitter feeds (Machinima, Inside Gaming, Realm) for instant notifications when we get the party started. GET HYPE.

Awesome, sounds good. Appreciate your doing this, as obviously unable to attend what would be considered the ‘official’ Blizzard event…by Blizzard that is, not some randome Game Store where I am located.
It will be streaming through the Machinima App as well?

Technically it is the same exact time. Just the sun goes down earlier here.
