Dishonored Release Date Announced

Today Bethesda announced that their forthcoming first-person steampunk super-assassin game, Dishonored, will be hitting shelves on October 9 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Games for Windows on PC.

Said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks in a press release: “We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people’s attention. We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!”

There are lots of choice games coming out this fall, so it’s exciting that Bethesda’s going for it with a brand new IP to compete with all the tried and true franchises. Should be interesting…
