What is Star Wars 1313?

star wars 1313

The other day, Fusible reported that Lucasfilm had filed a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for something called “Star Wars 1313.” The filing covers a bunch of different things, ranging from interactive software and all that comes with it, to books, puzzles, model hobby craft kits for making model spacecraft, toy candy dispensers, toy modeling dough kits, boats, yo-yos, comics, and pencil cases, just to name a few.

Simply put this trademark covers a whole wide range of Star Wars junk, with video games being one major component, by the looks of things. But what the hell is it? What could it be?

The Fusible post speculatively suggests that it could be related to a possible Boba Fett movie, because, apparently, the bounty hunter once used an alias by the name of CT-1313, though the post also notes it’s not “a strong argument.” I’m inclined to agree—but I also have literally no idea what else it could be.

Chances are it’s just some random new repackaging of old Star Wars crap…but maybe they’ll surprise us. Maybe it’s for episodes seven, eight, and nine! Maybe it is! Probably it isn’t!

Your thoughts?

Could be connected to that SW TV series that they’ve been attempting to get off of the ground for forever.
