Portal 2 Level Editor Released

Yesterday, everyone’s favorite CEO of a mad science company, Cave Johnson, posted on the Portal 2 blog to basically announce that the game’s level editor was out and ready to go. Called the “Perpetual Testing Initiative,” the editor can be downloaded for PC or Mac from the Steam Store.

Buying Portal 2 from steam only costs $6.79, and I’m about 98 percent sure that the level editor will come free with it if you don’t already have it. And if you DO already have it, I’m 97 percent sure that you should be able to download the editor free of cost—if Steam hasn’t already prompted you to download it (or done it for you because Steam is fancy, right?).

So there you go! New Portal 2 level editor. Go get it.
