THQ Announces Company of Heroes 2

A brief press trumpets that THQ and Relic Entertainment have partnered to release Company of Heroes 2 for the PC in early 2013. The lone nugget of information in the release is that CoH2 won’t focus on the Western front like most World War 2 games. Instead, this game will focus on the Eastern front and those rascally Russians.

The wording of the press release implies the game will stick with its tactics-focused gameplay, similar to the preceding Dawn of War series. That rules, because Relic has only gotten better and better at refining the idea. Company of Heroes was great but a little… well, it’s one of the only games I’ve rage-uninstalled.
