Assassin’s Creed III Gameplay Teaser is a Huge Tease

The gameplay trailer above is pretty cool. I mean, that’s just a fact. Our new hero, Connor, is chasing after some bastard red-coat, bounding through the trees, and then he gets him in the leg with a bow and arrow (bad ass). Good stuff, right?

At the end of the trailer, Ubisoft asks viewers to go to Assassinscreed.com/unite, to unlock the FULL gameplay trailer. I’m all like, “yeah, I want to see that trailer.” So I go ahead and direct my browser there. And I when I get there, it takes me to the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page, and it says I need to click the “Like” button to see it. And I say to myself, “sure, okay, this is a bit much already, but yeah, I’ll ‘Like’ that thing.”

And so then I click it and I see this total bullshit:

Yeah. I’m not going to do any of these things. I do want to see it. But really, I’m already writing a post about it. That’s not enough? Don’t you already know that everyone wants this game? I’m not gonna go bug my friends about it, too.

I think I can live without the full trailer, thank you very much. He assassinates people. We get it. Blegh.

Why would these guys out so many good games at the time of year where I feel like spending every penny I have?!?!?! It’s like they’ve narrowed down the ravaging of my poor, oblivious wallet to a science!! They’re… They’re penetrating my wallet annual style!!!! WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!

  ^Totally sorta agree. I like the gameplay and it’s fun to play. But the story is hogwash and makes me want to kill kittens. Other than that I know I’m not getting it or bothering with the latest installment to the series.

ever since the ME3 debacle and the BBB confirming false advertising I’m going to wait until I see user reviews from now on, also its better to wait until the final edition comes out because you know like every AAA title seems to be doing that lately, Even batman Arhkum city
