Kirby Pinball Land Rated in Australia
Kirby’s Pinball Land was a much loved entry into the Kirby franchise that, like some other Nintendo characters, ventured into the land of pinball for a game or two. Now, that game has been given a rating in Australia, hinting at a possible re-release, or better yet – inclusion into the Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection that was recently announced.
Recently, Kirby’s Pinball Land was given a “General” rating (roughly equal to an “E” rating in the US) by the Australian Classification Board, as in the guys who rate video games down under. Interesting enough is not the fact that it’s been rated, but the idea that it’s been rated and not announced yet.
Because announcement typically follows classification in Australia, many are inclined to believe that the console arcade classic will be making its way the Nintendo 3DS eShop. On the other end of the spectrum, some are leaning towards the game’s inclusion in the Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection coming out for Nintendo Wii sometime this year.
While I hope to see it in the Anniversary Collection, I have no problem downloading it to my Nintendo 3DS to play on-the-go.
Oh wait, this is Australian eShop we’re talking about. I’m in America…
Well anyway, thanks for the heads-up Joystiq!

Pokemon pinball was the shit, you’re trippin.
I totally meant ‘like’ not ‘unlike’. Fixed.
Do not be mistaken: I loved Pokemon Pinball.
