Dead Island Getting Game of The Year Edition Release?
Dead Island, that semi-loved zombie game with a slightly misleading announcement trailer, might be getting a re-release in the form of a Game of The Year Edition.
Initially spotted by Siliconera, the game’s listing on the BBFC ratings board mentions a June 30 release date for the re-release, but that’s all the details we have.
We’d be safe to assume that the Ryder White and Bloodbath Arena DLCs will be included in the package, but like I said, that’s all we know at this point.
The game itself displayed a mediocre performance in press circles last year, sitting at a 71 metacritic average on consoles and an 80 average on PC. So…who gave it Game of The Year?
Though, if you’ve been waiting for a re-release of Dead Island like so many games these days do, then hope to expect an official announcement soon enough.
Until then, you’ll just have to entertain yourself. Use this:

Kitten mittens made my sucky day just that much more enjoyable. As for Dead Island GOTY edition… Woow…
I’ve seen plenty of cat .gifs in my life, but that one is at LEAST top 10.
this game was absolutly terrible…10 out of 10
Maaan I actually really loved this game as I am a huge zombie anything fan.The scale of the sequel will probably bring better praise…
