Minecraft for Xbox 360 Official Launch Trailer

It’s been a long time coming, but Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is finally arriving on May 9, and we have a fancy, albeit blocky new trailer to prove it.

In the video, you’ll get a taste of the local and Xbox Live multiplayer, with up to 4 and 8 players supported respectively. You’ll have access to all the features so far in the launch PC version – crafting, mining, building, exploring , and surviving.

In all honesty, as much time as I’ve sunk into Minecraft (and I’ve sunk more than is healthy), this trailer actually has me excited to play again. There’s something special about building anything you want, how you want, when, where, and with whom you feel like.

Be sure to check it out when it arrives on Xbox Live Arcade next week for 1600 MS Points, equivalent to $20 US.
