Announced this morning by its publisher Atlus, Persona 4 Golden will be available for the PlayStation Vita in North America this Fall.

The game is based on the PS2 classic Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, so the modern Vita version will see quite the upgrade. For starters, Persona 4 Golden will feature newly enhanced graphics and sounds, including more in-game dialogue.

The game will sport a new “online dungeon rescue” feature that will allow you to call other players for assistance when you’re about to die.

New content is on its way as well: new Personas to gather, never-before-seen story events that include an all-new character, anime cutscenes, and a new opening animation coupled with a song from composer Shoji Meguro.

I’ve never played Persona, but I’m sure you have if you’re reading this article. And because I tend to do this with games I’m relatively unfamiliar with, here’s a cat GIF to leave you with a smile.

he’s right, is a great game. Take this poorly pixeled screenshot for example. A game ahead of its time.
