New Hitman: Absolution Trailer Introduces You to Agent 47

By Brian P Rubin | 02 May 2012 | 3 Comments

A solid, slick-looking gameplay trailer from Square Enix’s forthcoming Hitman: Absolution just dropped. In it, we get to see Agent 47 doing what he does best—kill a bunch of people a bunch of different ways.

It’s a really good trailer! I’ve never played any of the Hitman games before, personally, but my interest is definitely piqued. It’s like Assassin’s Creed, but without all the Animus garbage.

Or am I just buying into the hype? What do you guys think?

Hitman: Absolution is set to hit shelves this fall for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Looks pretty nice, but it all comes down to actually playing the game. I just hope they didn’t put in a love story or something, ’cause that would totally suck… Agent 47 is emotionless. He does his job, gets paid, then waits for another contract, he does not involve in romance (as we were led to believe throughout all the previous parts), unlike the one in the movie (bleugh).

Play ‘Blood Money’ first. It sums up the series pretty well.

Agreed. It’s also the most palatable. The series gets a little more bullshit hard the further back you go.
