Though the game has sold like delicious hotcakes, Trials Evolution has been suffering from a slightly annoying bug that caused popular, previously made user levels to be hidden from the ranking system, meaning they were near-impossible to find.

Thankfully, developer Redlynx has launched a patch that squashes this little bug.

The main issue was the game promoting new user-made tracks and assigning them high rankings, but not adjusting for highly rated older creations. Now the system is more based upon the amount of user ratings, allowing the better of the many tracks the opportunity to bubble up to the top of the ranks.

Redlynx spokesman Jason Bates told Eurogamer in a statement that they have “worked closely with Microsoft to employ a Track Central fix addressing an issue affecting user-rating balance for player-created tracks.”

All things considered, Redlynx had quite a turnaround time. In a world where certification slows down the process of releasing games and their associated patches to ensure quality, it’s refreshing to see Redlynx so ahead of the game, so as to speed up that process as much as possible.

Also, your game is awesome – so thanks for that too.
