Target outs Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Gives Release Date

We’ve been teased back and forth with leak after leak of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 rumors lately, wouldn’t you say? From posters to forum boards to updated websites, we’re all just itching to hear what the next iteration of the Call of Duty franchise will be…you know, if it’s not going to be Black Ops 2…which it probably, most definitely, likely, surely is.

Today’s rumor comes out of IGN, who posted a photo of a Target pre-order card for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which also has a release date of November 13 written right smack on the front of the card.

Folks from Polygon were able to successfully contact a Target representative (though we don’t really know who), who did confirm that the cards are really real, and so is the release date and game — which is Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 if you haven’t been keeping up.

The representative went on to mention that you’ll be able to pre-order the game on Wednesday, May 2 – you know, the day after the start of the NBA Playoffs, where Treyarch and Activision have confirmed to be making a Call of Duty announcement.

CAN’T POSSIBLY IMAGINE WHAT THEY’LL BE ANNOUNCING.

So there you have it. If this isn’t Black Ops 2, and just so happens to be some HILARIOUS scheme to trick all the video game sites and consumers of the world, then by all means, everyone go on and have a GOOD LAUGH.

See you guys on Tuesday, May 1 when Treyarch announces the My Little Pony title they’ve been working on.

I’m not afraid to say I’m looking forward to this game. Loved black ops in comparison to MW3, so hope it’s great.

have we learned nothing from the cookie cutter dollar signs in activisions eyes or the fact that their biggest developer blizzard, forces single player games to be online while they microtransaction the hell out of you…………

trust them not they will strap you to the milking machine forcefully if they could get away with it..
