Republique Kickstarter Announces PC and Mac Version

Camouflaj’s Ryan Payton explains above that his game, Republique, will now be available on PC and Mac if it manages to meet its funding goal of $500,000 on Kickstarter. That might be a bit of a tall order at this point, seeing as how it’s at $108,845 as of the time of this writing with only a scant two weeks to go, but hey, you never know.

The game, which we first reported on two weeks ago, seems like an intriguing use of our huge amount of touch-screen capable devices, tasking players with hacking into cameras to help a girl escape a totalitarian regime. Since Android compatibility wasn’t announced, I’m a bit more interested now that I could at least play the thing on my PC…what do you think?
