Rayman Legends Wii U Trailer Leaks Online

Remember all of the recent Rayman Legends rumors spinning around this week? Well, thanks to a leaked trailer that’s spreading around the web like wildfire, it seems we have a confirmation of the title’s existence.

The video is being pulled rather quickly around the Internet, so watch it while you can. There’s a LOT to see here.

Aside from the new worlds, online multiplayer, return of drop-in co-op, dragons, a new rendering engine, social gaming, soccer, and races, the trailer indicates that Rayman Legends will make creative use of the Wii U’s NFC function, very much in the style of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.

Towards the latter half of the video, you’ll see happy gamers placing dolls on top of the Wii U’s screen, where the game then “absorbs” them into the game with game-changing effects. For example, a teen later places a Raving Rabbid doll on the screen, which is scanned into the game for Rayman to fight. Pretty neat huh?

You can also apparently use the touchscreen on the Wii U to overcome obstacles during multiplayer. Simple, but still pretty cool.
