Bastion Now Available for Mac, SteamPlay Update Incoming
Do you remember the game that earned Best Downloadable Game, Best Indie Game, and Best Original Score at the Inside Gaming Awards last year? It was Bastion you silly-billy, and it’s gone on to sell quite well on Xbox 360 and Steam for PC. Now, it’s available for Mac as well.
Available for the purchase price of $15, interested gamers can scoop up the game on the Mac App Store. If you already own the game on Steam though, and want to play it on both your PC and Mac without buying twice, you can do that! Supergiant has taken the time to manufacture a SteamPlay update that will allow you to download the game on both platforms, and even store your saves in the cloud so you never lose your spot.
The update will be made available sometime next week.
If for some reason you don’t own a capable PC, Mac or Xbox 360 though, Supergiant Games has stated that while they have no plans for future releases of Bastion on other platforms, they do “appreciate the interest from folks who want to see Bastion for their favorite platforms.”
I vote iPad next – get Bastion on iOS so I can kill scumbags on my morning commute. Pretty please?
If asking for it doesn’t work, we could always try a petition – I hear those work now.

Don’t talk too loud about “killing scumbags” on your morning commute. People actually do that, and it’s not related to video games…
