QuakeCon 2012 Pre-Registration Packages Available Tomorrow
Scheduled for the first weekend in August in Dallas, Texas, 2012’s QuakeCon is a free gathering for gamers to get together and share their love of all things Quakey and Bethesdish. And good news! This morning, Bethesda sent out a press release to announce the various pre-order packages that will go on-sale tomorrow. While the convention itself is free to attend, the packages offer some nice bonuses…y’know, if you like awesome stuff and things and stuff.

Folks can register right here. The event goes from Thursday, Agust 2 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, August 5, and will be at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. That means you NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOTEL.
I once covered a Magic: The Gathering tournament for a magazine I used to work for. The event was held in the convention center attached to the hotel in Chicago they put me up in—and as a result, I never even went outside until it was time to get back to the airport. I had a great time—but I really, really wish I’d bothered to see Chicago. Instead, all I know of Chicago is Magic cards. Don’t be a fool—don’t make the same mistake as me…
