Mario Kart 7 Patch Drift-boosting onto your 3DS this May
Nintendo expects to issue a patch for Mario Kart 7 in mid-May, with which issues of exploitation and other tweaks will be addressed – and hopefully with great success.
This comes after news got round’ that there was a shortcut exploitation on Wuhu Mountain Loop track within the game, where players could…well, exploit a shortcut to their advantage – and quite frequently.
How frequently? Frequently enough that Nintendo wants to release fix for it, unusual for them.
Nintendo mind you, unlike Sony and Microsoft, is not known for patching its games. In fact, it’s a company that’s asked consumers in the past to send in memory cards with their saves on them just to identify the problem, instead of patching via the Internet.
Good move Nintendo, good move. Good to see you’re doing what you should’ve been doing with WiiConnect24, a service that’s gotten what? No usage whatsoever?
Oh wait; I was complimenting you, wasn’t I? Bravo Big N, bravo.

Can’t wait, haven’t played it for months because of them cheaters picking Maka wuhu over and over. No point in playing if that’s going to happen. People say it isn’t a game breaker but it is if it’s the only course being picked :(. But now we need not to worry, cause now we non cheaters can pick the hell out of these courses and annoy the cheaters for a change haha XD. They chose it to cheat, we will choose it because they can’t cheat XD.
