It’s been a long seven years since Quake 4 originally released, but Apple fans can now rejoice – the game has finally arrived on the Mac.

The Raven Software/iD Software classic comes with support for cross-platform multiplayer, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Tourney, Capture The Flag, Arena CTF, and DeadZone.

The game will run you $19.99 on the Mac App Store, but is also available on GameAgent.

It’s good to see that Mac users are finally getting great games to play other than that tile-puzzle thing with the Tucan. Yeah, loads of fun that game is.
