New Halo 4 Screenshots Appear Online
Posted on site All Games Beta recently was a handful of new screenshots for Halo 4. In development by 343 Industries and Microsoft, this post-Bungie Halo is set to take the franchise into new territory under a new team — whether or not it will be well received is yet to be determined.
Until that day of judgement arrives when we finally have the game in our sweaty palms though, you can check out the beautiful screenshots of the game below in our fancy new image gallery.

Is it me or does Cortana look pretty solidified? She’s even properly proportioned in terms of height… OMFG… WHY DID THAT PIC CUT OFF SO HIGH?!?!?! DAMN YOU 343!!!
Why do the grunts and elites look so… bad.
In game looks great though.
The grunts and elites are the remains of the covenant, the ones that never gave up their faith even after the Halo rings destruction. Just Imagine if the religion you grew up learning, the gods you worshiped, everything you fight for, and ever knew was suddenly destroyed, you don’t just hang your head and forget it.
You dust off your boots and continue to fight against your enemies, they are basically rebels now. Which explains why their armour and other gear is lower tech and not as complete as the full on Covenant loadouts of the past. They probally have to fight with what they can find or salvage, which is probably why they are boarding your ship at the start of Halo 4.
The Elites sided with the Humans at the end of Human-Covenant war, if anything its likely that a new war has started or we’re are still allied with them.
Also its been confirmed that there is a new enemy.
There are millions of elites dude, Im sure not all of them sided with the humans after decades of indoctrinization.
The elites are changed for the better. They just look more detailed. I hate the fat grunts ewwww…..
Looking at these images and seeing that appearently elites are part of the Covenant, I’m getting a feeling that time traveling is part of the story. Cheif could’ve traveled through time when he was cought in the explosion of the Ark.
Nopes. Its just the section of Elites that don’t follow the Arbiter and still hate Humans. Think of it like the protestant reformation after the crusades. /The books have gotten very good.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought when I first saw those elites — Err — I mean Cortana…
I like the grunt/elite art direction, I just hope they retain the size of the elites from Reach, they were scary.
If first impressions are meaningful then I’m looking forward to this. It looks good.
the grunt seems like a shark, and the elite is awful, compare whit the halo reach elites and this thing just is awful raelly awful
