GameStop Drops PS3 Console Price by $50

Do you have a PlayStation 3 yet? If not, go get two-hundred of your least favorite dollars, and walk—nay, RUN—to GameStop. Joystiq reports that the video game retailer has dropped the price of a new 160 gb PlayStation 3 console to $200 from its usual price of $250, which is a pretty sweet deal.

The post points out that, as of now, it’s not known how long this price will last, whether or not it’s part of a larger promotion, or if this is a signal of forthcoming price drops at other retailers. But whatever the case may be, $200 for a PS3-game playing Blu-ray player is pretty good, you guys. If I didn’t already own a PS3, I’d buy one, fo-sho.
