Blizzard Reopens Diablo III Beta to All This Weekend

Two days ago, we reported on a glitch that had opened the Diablo III beta to anyone who wanted to give it a shot, regardless of whether or not they had a beta key. Blizzard shut down all the beta servers as a result. But this weekend, the developer will be opening them back up—to everyone—on purpose, even!

At 12 noon, Pacific (a few hours from the time of this writing), the servers will open until 10 a.m. Pacific on Monday, says a post on Battle.net. The move is a “three day stress test” as Blizzard heads “toward the game’s release on May 15.”

So if you’ve been dying to crawl around some dungeons while clicking your mouse for a while, this weekend’s your chance.

You can download the Diablo III client right here. You’re welcome.

I was in closed beta and I tried opening my client but it appears stuck at 0%.. either I have to redownload the client or the servers are mega flooded.. I’m hoping it’s the latter.

Nevermind mine is working now :). Too bad I haven’t updated my client in about 3 months, but at least my download is only cut down to maybe 1 gig instead of like 4.

Yeah, Blizzard = FAIL! They have more money than Midas, yet they can even deliver on the Open beta, which is down because of maintenance. WTF is wrong with people that still play WoW anyway, the game is so boring and EASY now, there no purpose to play it unless you like to PVP but really that sucks too. Come on Guild Wars 2!

I know people in the beta for GW2 they say it has faield to meet expecations and deliver and won’t be playing it after it launches unless theres some big changes.

please remember that beta is beta and of course no game will meet your expectations during it unless they have finished the game but are dragging out the release date to see if they can get more hype.

You guys are going to be angry if I mention that one my best friends has been in the closed beta for like half a year and STILL has not touched it at all!
