KOREAN3DS

Some exciting news if you’re from the land of Korea (also known as the land of StarCraft) – you can purchase your very own Nintendo 3DS starting next week.

Available in blue, black, and pink, the Nintendo 3DS will launch on April 28 for 220,000 won ($193 US), and with a funky list of three games to select from: Tekken 3D Prime Edition, Super Mario 3D Land, and Nicola Magazine Model Stylish Audition 2.

As 2012 continues, Nintendo has plans to release Mario kart 7, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Nintendogs + Cats, Starfox 64 3D, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

This should act as quite the distraction from StarCraft II, a game that’s apparently very popular over there. Maybe that’s Nintendo’s plan – maybe they’re in cahoots with MLG or IPL or whatever e-sports gobbly gook supports StarCraft II.

Alright, so maybe that last bit is a stretch, but what do I know about e-sports? That’s Lawrence territory.
