Family Guy Online MMO Hits Open Beta
Though its existence has been awkwardly present around the Internet for the past year, Family Guy Online from Twentieth Century Fox (working with Roadhouse Interactive) is taking the next step to its eventual release: open beta.
As of this week, the free-to-play, browser-based MMO set in Peter Griffin’s lovely town of Quahog, Road Island is open for anyone to play. From what the screens and videos portray, you’ll be able to walk around virtual Quahog, participate in NPC-given quests, and laugh at jokes only followers of the show can fully comprehend.
If you’re really that interested, you can sign up here. But given the number of fantastic free-to-play games available now, are you really willing to sink precious work/free time into digital fart jokes and mildly offensive quips?
If you are, then have at it.
But because this is a video game website, I feel obligated to include some form of Family Guy media that is actually video game related.
