Dragon’s Dogma Demo Delivered Next Week

dragon's dogma

Today Capcom announced that the demo for their forthcoming open world action RPG, Dragon’s Dogma, will be hitting Xbox LIVE and the North American PlayStation store on Tuesday, April 24, with Europe’s PlayStation Store to get the goods the next day, on April 25. Seriously, European PlayStation Store—what’s the deal with that lateness? You guys are ahead of us, what with being closer to GMT and all! Come on now.

Anyway, the demo will offer players a sampling of two of the game’s character classes—the fighter and the strider—in two encounters. I am interested in this.

The game is coming out for the two aforementioned consoles (no PC version mentioned in the press release—sorry guys) on May 22 in North America, and on May 25 in Europe (SRSLY WTF ERPE).

I will be downloading this demo when it comes out next week. A small dose of RPG action is just what the doctor ordered around here. What do you think—you dig it?

Why is this game sporting the RE6 demo again?

It’s not a well known game and needs attention because it is amazing. It put all of the money into development and none into advertisement.

Capcom’s been really good about porting their games to PC so odds are it will show up on the platform at some point
