Max Payne Mobile Coming to iOS and Android This Month
As you may know, April is the month that folks in America file their federal and state tax returns. That’s right—Uncle Sam comes a-knockin’, looking to take the money you THOUGHT was yours.
So, naturally, April is the month where most people feel like shooting something.
Fortunately, Rockstar Games has found a way to alleviate your urge to pull the trigger in reality and given you an outlet to do so harmlessly on mobile devices. On April 12 (a few days before Tax Day), Max Payne Mobile will be released for iOS devices (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 4, iPad 1, iPad 2 and the new iPad). Two weeks later, Android users will have a chance to Payne it up on non-Apple devices—though a full list of the supported devices has yet to be released.
According to the press release Rockstar sent out today, the mobile title will be the “full classic Max Payne PC experience,” and is “optimized for both iOS and Android devices and features HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls.”
Below we’ve got screenshots of the mobile version of the title, followed by the iPad versions of the same screen. Enjoy:

Seems legit.
YES! Thank you, Remedy! Now I don’t REALLY regret buying Alan Wake collector’s edition for PC.
