Valve Partners with Nexon for Counter-Strike Online 2 in Asia
Today, free-to-play giant Nexon Co. published a press release announcing a new partnership with Valve to create Counter-Strike Online 2, which seems to be exclusively for Asian audiences.
The game is a sequel to, well, Counter-Strike Online, which was first released in 2007 to great success in China, Taiwan, and Korea. This new game will be for the aforementioned territories, as well as Japan.
There isn’t much more info about the game—no release date, for one, and no word on whether or not the game will be available outside of Asia. We’ll offer more if and when we learn it.
