Out for the Mac today is Bioshock 2, sequel to Irrational Game’s 2007 smash-hit for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. This version includes both the entire campaign and multiplayer suite.

It was previously stated by developer Irrational Games that the Mac version of Bioshock 2 would release in January 2012, and would be published by Feral Interactive. Though it’s a couple of months late, Bioshock fans who don’t own a console or capable Windows PC can now crank up their Big Daddy drill arms and rejoice.

You can download the game from Feral store, Mac App Store, Gamersgate, Gamefly, Mac Game Store and Macgames.fr.

Huh? Didn’t this come out in 2010? They could have put the effort into making Infinite on windOIS and the PS360 U… I’m a word smith, I know…

Btw, Bioshock 2 is one of my favorite titles of all time.

Bioshock 2 wasn’t as good as the first. I think putting you in the shoes of a walking tank that has a Gatling gun in one hand and is spouting fireballs from the other kind of ruined the horror and suspense that the series had going on.
