New Dishonored Screens from Bethesda
In what I think will be my only non-EA-related post of the day, Bethesda and Arkane have released new screens and concept art from their upcoming game, Dishonored, billed as a “first-person action game.”
Set in a steampunk setting, you have magic powers, gadgets, and the need to assassinate. Basically, it’s Assassin’s Creed meets Lord of the Rings meets Call of Duty meets BioShock. YES. YES IT IS.
It looks pretty interesting, though I’m not a big fan of the first-person action stuff. I feel like third-person is the best scheme for action-based games, but, hey, that’s me. But from what I can tell from the images below, there are sure to be some cool looking settings, characters, and enemies–especially the “Tallboys.”
Check out the screens and concept art images. There are a butt-load of them:

MOTHER OF SCREENSHOTS!
First thing I thought when I saw this was Bioshock and some pretty bizarre Deus Ex game. Looks pretty sweet.
Is it just myself or do the cars that those police-looking men are standing by look stunningly similar to the Combine cars from Half Life 2?
Besides that great looking games.
Screenshots out the WAZZZOOOO.
I hope this doesn’t end up like brink did
Honestly, it looks like playable art.
you think they are using their id tech muscles for this game?
Do want.
Do want indeed.
