I’ve made no secret about how excited I am to try out Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, which promises to make good use of Kinect interactivity and shooting people with walking tanks. It seems that Japanese gamers have even more to get excited about, as it’s been announced that they can buy a limited edition of the game and get tons of awesome stuff.

A post on Andriasang offers details about the limited edition of the game that you can buy from e-Capcom for just ¥35,000…or over $400, American. Which is kind of a lot…

But what do you get? You get a soundtrack and art book—pretty standard stuff for limited editions of games. So what makes it worth it? A GODDAMN JACKET, BAG, AND HELMET. So while you can play, you can dress up like the characters and make the experience complete.

No word yet on whether or not this limited version of the game will be available in the States, but I suspect it will probably stay limited to Japan. They tend to like dressing up like people and stuff.

But damn…I really kind of want that jacket…
