PS Plus Subscribers Get Tons of March Goodies

I’m not a PlayStation Plus subscriber. But Sony makes the prospect of becoming one more and more attractive every month. This time around, PS Plus subscribers will get access to Journey today, a full week earlier than the rest of us suckers, says the PlayStation Blog. But that’s not even all.

Subscribers will also get free downloadable copies of PS2 classic Sly Cooper and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which is a FUCKING LONG TITLE. You get that WHOLE TITLE for free.

Oh, wait, that’s not even all: they get the PS1’s Um Jammer Lammy, which was basically Guitar Hero before Guitar Hero was Guitar Hero.

Now, these things are all “free” with paid subscription to the PS Plus service. But given how much you get for your subscription of $50 for a whole year, the free games and discounts on other games would seem to compensate pretty well…especially compared to the $60/year cost of Xbox LIVE, which is just what it costs to get that damn thing online, to say nothing of the lack of free games you get with your LIVE subscription.

Dammit.
