Sega Bringing Jet Set Radio to PSN and XBLA

For all you young whippersnappers who were born too late to understand how great the Sega Dreamcast was for the two or three weeks it was around, pay attention. Sega released the above teaser yesterday to basically announce the forthcoming rerelease of Jet Set Radio—known in the US as Jet Grind Radio, for some inexplicable reason.

The game was one of the cooler titles to be released during that time, and one of the first to really show off that whole “cell shaded graphics” thing, meaning the game looked like nothing else that had come before it—and it had plenty of imitators come after it. You played a young man or woman who would skate around the city with a can of spray paint, tagging the shit out of things, and cruising to a really solid soundtrack.

This game could cost fifteen, twenty bucks—it’s worth it. Add it to your list now. You’re going to want it.

I loved Jet Set Radio Future!
I will give them all my money if it still have an amazing soundtrack (JSRF’s soundtrack, both the OST and “Unreleased tracks”, have found their way onto my iPod).
