A post over on SiliconEra from a few days ago broke the news: Namco Bandai is working on Dragon Ball Z Kinect. The scoop came courtesy of a listing on the Korean Game Rating Board’s website, which, thanks to Google Translate, reveals the fact that, well, it’s a game called Dragon Ball Z Kinect and that it’s coming to the US…sometime…someday…

Are there any other details? No. No, there are not.

But! It does offer some interesting ideas for how this kind of game could work. Would you be into a DBZ game that made you, like, contort your body all stupid to shoot fireballs and fly and junk?

Yes, Goku’s hair looks fucked up in that picture. I don’t care.

Lol his hair always looked fucked up. You just put the cherry on top. :)

Anyway, I feel kind of weird about this game. So, will I start randomly punching the air to shoot thousands of blasts without ever hitting the target? Or can I start crazy fighting and eventually rip my shirt off in order to go super saiyan? Or better yet… see a new opponant and scream, “IT’S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!!” In that case, then yes, I will buy this game.
