Activision CEO ‘Bobby Kotick’ Joins board of directors at…Coca Cola?

The Coca-Cola company has announced that Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has been elected to the company’s board of Directors. He’ll be serving in the position of Director, with a previous directorship at Yahoo.

Muhtar Kent, Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, expressed his enthusiasm for the inclusion of Kotick on the board:

“Bobby brings an entrepreneurial mindset and a high level of financial literacy and digital knowledge to our Company.

His global brand expertise and insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and invest in enhancing our digital engagement with consumers and customers around the world.”

Translation: Well, he’s sold a lot of Call of Duty, so we hope he’ll help sell a lot Coke.

Let’s just hope they don’t start re-releasing the same Coca-Cola drinks every single year because of this.

Two of the most evil companies , Activision and Coca-Cola, together. But now that I think about it, I already saw coke and sprite advertisements on Dj and Guitar hero. Get your crosses and your torches, this is not going to be good.
