Lego Minecraft Out This Summer, Pictures Included

Late last year, we reported that the Lego Company was interested in creating an official Lego block set based on Minecraft. Mojang and Lego came to an agreement regarding the project, and within two weeks Mojang’s own Markus “Notch” Peerson has gotten his hands on a finished set.

He even tweeted a few pictures.

Officially detailed via the Lego Cuusoo blog, the announcement states that the set will be available for purchase this summer, and is currently available for pre-order exclusively through J!NX.

Where Minecraft was a game based on Legos, Legos are now based on Minecraft…which is still based on Legos.

I can sense the impending Lego-ception jokes about to emerge.
