Terraria Developer Teases New Game, Screenshots Included
In a post via Indie Game Mag, Terraria developer Tiyuri divulged the first screenshots from his upcoming, untitled game. For those who are familiar with Terraria, these shots– at least initially– look quite similar.
With an indie community almost as large as Mojang’s Minecraft, Terraria rests high among the charts of PC sales. Sales being the way they have been, it’s no wonder that the developers are working on a follow up.

While no solid information was given on the PC-exclusive title, Tiyuri did mention that the screenshots were designed to showcase “development of the lighting and real-time shadows” in the game.
In all honesty, it does look pretty much look sorta kinda almost similar to Terraria. However, if you really enjoy Terraria, there’s no reason not to get excited about this game.

Yes it does look exactly like Terraria,I need to see gameplay in order to convince me that this isn’t a clone.

I am both happy and pissed off at the same time.
I am pissed off as they might be abandoning terraria or it might become “obsolete” with this new engine.
I am happy because they are a cool bunch of people. With so many very cool free updates. With the low cost of the initial game. It’s hard to give them more money. :) I’ve got enough extra copies already. But with no DLCs no other mechanism. So this way I can give them more moneys.
So I guess this is terraria 2 in another plane of existance.
It just may be.
