Max Payne Release Dates Revealed

max payne 3 release date

When it was announced not too long ago that Max Payne 3 would be delayed from March to May, a lot of us felt the PAYNE (ha ha ha I am funny).

But today, Take Two announced that Max Payne 3 would be coming out for PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 15 in North America, and May 18 in the rest of the world.

PC gamers have to wait a teensy bit longer—the North American PC release will be May 29, and June 1 everywhere else.

Sorry PC, gamers. But, c’mon…you’re used to this kinda thing by now, aren’t you?

Meh… do we PC gamers get the games later because of piracy being highest on the PC?

So they think that this prevents piracy? I say it pretty much does the opposite, as people will be disappointed in the way they approach, and want to show it by well… not paying them.

It’s the true PC gamers that suffer in the end… the guys that pirate the game will still pirate it… of course they’ll just have to wait longer just like the rest of the PC gamers.

It’s retarded I say. I always wanted Red Dead Redemption but I’m not really willing to pay for a console that is underpowered and way behind PC systems, nor am I comfortable with a gaming controller either.

Rockstar used to be the best, but it became Cockstar. They should’ve let Remedy, the _REAL_ developer do the game….

It’s a little annoying considering this game originated on PC, so I can only hope and pray that the delay is to ensure the PC version isn’t a shitty console port like recent ruined titles…

Getting for the Xbox anyway. Even though I played the first two on the PC.

One of my “friends” pirates a lot of games (except indie ones) and his explanation was that Bethesda (or Ubisoft or any other big publisher) don’t need his money because they are already rich. I don’t agree with him but it is the best explanations to pirating that I’ve heared so far.

They receive that money from consumers who purchase their games. If you want good games to keep releasing, keep buying games to support the companies who slave to make them.

Your “friend” is merely justifying stealing, with notably pathetic, illogical reasoning.

And by the way the first two Max Payne games were mostly popular on the PC, this is why the game should come earlier on the PC and later on consoles (as the Witcher 2).
