Mass Effect 3 Voice Cast is Studded with Studly Stars

By Brian P Rubin | 31 January 2012 | 5 Comments

Oh, are you still here? I thought you might’ve left in a huff after I went and got mad because of Mass Effect 3 fans who were acting like jackholes over some crappy new tie-in novel.

Well, since you decided to stick around, take a look at the above trailer for the voice cast of Mass Effect 3. With Freddie Prinze, Jr. playing the role of new character James Vega, you can finally get one step closer to having a video game adaptation of the Wing Commander movie. I love it when games imitate movies that imitate games.

And with Tricia Helfer  playing artificial-intelligence thingie named Edi, you’re one step closer to that great Battlestar Galactica video game adaptation you’ve always wanted.

And with Martin Sheen on board to play the Illusive Man (“illusive”? Really? Not “elusive”? Okay.), you’re one step closer to the West Wing video game adaptation  you’ve been writing about in your spare time, when no one’s looking, and that you’ve kept as a secret wish in your heart for years and years…

Or is that just me?

But ME2 was just as close to a Battlestar Galactica and West Wing game too!

‘Illusive’ is like ‘illusory’ or ‘deceptive’, rather than elusive. It’s kind of a pun.

Please stop reminding me to replay Mass Effect 1 & 2 before the third one comes out:/

I need to keep away from all ME3 news. It’s better to discover all these new characters and plot points on my own. I hated it when ME2 because I already knew all the characters before I played the game…
