Activision Responds to COD Elite DLC Issues

elite dlc issue

Yesterday’s report of Call of Duty Elite subscribers who weren’t able to utilize DLC on more than one profile on Xbox consoles has been heard by publisher Activision. Just as I’d predicted, the company is working on a fix, and pretty soon all this pain and suffering will merely be a distant memory.

According to Joystiq, here’s what Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling had to say on the issue:

“We understand that ELITE Premium Members on Xbox Live who purchased the latest DLC Content Drop for Modern Warfare 3 are unable to access that content while signed into other profiles on the same console that originally downloaded the content. This is unintentional and we will work to get an update out as soon as possible that corrects this issue and allows you to continue to enjoy the new maps.”

If you got a problem, YO, they’ll solve it. Now check out the hook while the developer resolves it.

Word to your mother.
