World’s Largest Video Game Controller Nails Guinness World Record
In celebration of the release of the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition, an engineering student at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands designed and crafted the largest video game controller ever built.
Weighing in at 265lbs and stretching out to 12 feet in width, this NES controller is the hunkiest piece of gaming hardware available on the planet, unless you count Dance Dance Revolution machines or those ancient arcade racing cabinets. Ben Allen and his classmates are showcasing the completely functional controller in Liverpool St. Station in London in promotion of the aforementioned Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition.
