Ocarina of Time Remade in Minecraft Mod

Over the past 2 years, the creations that have sprung from the Minecraft community have been nothing short of spectacular. From massive mega-builds of ancient and modern structures, to epic adventure maps and game changing mods, Mojang’s first game has certainly been a platform for creatively-rich creations.

However, we might have just stumbled upon the greatest, and hands down the most ambitious project of them all.

Nine months in the making is “HyruleCraft”, a ground up, 1:1 scale replica of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and its game world. From what the video has shown, the entirety of the land of Hyrule as portrayed in the N64 classic is open for exploration, an impressive feat no doubt.

While this alone is an astronomical feat, the team behind the Hyrulecraft project has stated that they plan on adding even more content to the Zelda-dedicated server. According to their website, they plan on including “a unique Minecraft MMO experience including quests, NPCs, dungeons, free build zones, guilds, and more of the classic Minecraft stuff you know and love.”

Not only is Hyrulecraft a faithful recreation of arguably one of the best games to date, but it’s approaching “game within a game” status.

For those interested, you can check out the server for free, download the map and play by yourself, and up vote their efforts on Reddit.
