Bioware Developing Command & Conquer: Generals 2

By Ben PerLee | 11 December 2011 | 2 Comments

At last night’s VGAs, Bioware and EA confirmed what many people had been suspecting, that Bioware would take the reigns of the Command & Conquer franchise. This time, the game they are releasing in 2013 is Command & Conquer: Generals 2, a sequel to a 2003 Mac and PC title. Running off of the Frostbite 2 engine, it does seem odd that Bioware of all companies will be making this game, but before you think things get too weird, note that it looks like the true developer is Victory Games, an LA-based studio who was made by EA to work on this franchise. I’m kinda curious to see how development is shared within EA.

I kind of wished they showed some gameplay with the trailer instead of pre rendered stuff. I’d like to see what they have done so far with the Frostbite 2 engine.
