Another day, another story about how Activision will soon purchase the United States of America and rename it Call of Duty: Team American Freedoom and Democracy with Explosions. Today, the Verge reports that Call of Duty: Elite, the subscription-based stat-tracking social-network thingie that connects CoD players, has gained over a million new subscribers in the first six days after Modern Warfare 3’s release on November 8.

The post notes that the service—which, at this point, is only available for console gamers, meaning that when/if the PC version launches, we’ll see even more—has more than four million registered accounts, 80,000 clans, 100,000 user-generated videos, and over three million logins daily. DANGGGGGGGG DOG.

Of course, since the game’s launch, the service has experienced a few server issues…hopefully the continuing influx of new users won’t totally crush the thing.
