Free Gears 3 DLC on Turkey Day (and Horde Command Pack No Longer Delayed)

Let me paint a word-picture for you: every year in November, your family gets together and squabbles over Herman Cain and whether or not little Johnny should stay in that damned liberal private school where he talks about his feelings all day and doesn’t have enough homework. Then your Aunt Marjorie starts crying because nobody ate her green bean casserole and Grandpa Mike—the one who talks about minorities all the time, but it’s okay because he was in ‘the war’—just makes himself another cocktail and passes out in the corner.

Sound familiar? I thought so. How about you change up the routine and add some FREE GEARS OF WAR 3 MAPS TO YOUR THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION?

According to a post on Game Informer, Epic Games will be celebrating the national day of giving thanks by giving gamers the “Versus Booster Map Pack” on November 24. Three of those maps (Azura, Blood Drive, and Rustlung) are already included in the “Horde Command Pack” DLC—which, I should mention, was briefly delayed but still managed to hit its launch date of November 1 yesterday.

The other two maps in the free DLC are Bullet Marsh and Clocktower, so even if you get the “Horde” pack, there’s still something for you to have fun chainsawing Aunt Marjorie to death with.

Wow then why did I pay for it? It seems unfair for the people who bought it. If I knew it would be free I would not have gotten the season pass.

  Well, the season pass will get you all the dlc. This is the only one that’ll be free. And they only get the maps. None of the other stuff from the dlc.

If you have not purchased the Horde Command Pack, you will not be able to play the three maps even if you download the free Booster pack. So the season pass does save you the money on the first four DLC.

nvm im wrong, those who paid can use it for horde and etc, for free users only rank and quick
