Rage is 3 Discs Big on 360, Required 8 GB Install for PS3

Rage is going to be a big game. I’m talking huge, and not just within the gameplay itself. On Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry, Tim Willits of idSoftware made some heavy confirmations on the game. Firstly, the 360 version is going to ship on 3 discs, and will take 21-22 GB of hard drive space should a player decide to install it on their 360. That’s actually the recommended way of going about, according to Willits, however he recommends that plays tight on storage space install the discs as needed.

As for the PS3 version, Sony made a special agreement with id to make a required 8 GB install onto the hard drive, even with the Blu-Ray discs.
