Square Enix Registers Final Fantasy XIII-3 Domain

Final Fantasy XIII-2 isn’t due until January, but it looks like our friends at Square Enix are being busy bees on the legal end. On September 7, Corporation Service Company registered a domain for finalfantasyxiii-3.com. That’s right, and considering the sales success of the original Final Fantasy XIII, maybe we are seeing the world of Pulse and Cocoon becoming something more substantial.

Fans of Final Fantasy XIII are probably pretty excited about the opportunity to see a third adventure starring everyone’s favorite heroes, Hope and Vanille, but there is nothing really here besides some sound IP protection on Square Enix’s side. If this actually were indication of a new Final Fantasy XIII game, well, we probably wont hear anything about it until E3.
