Don’t expect Dan or Anna in Street Fighter X Tekken

Sad news: everyone’s favorite pink-clad street fighter Dan Hibiki will not be making an appearance in Street Fighter X Tekken. Neither will Nina’s sexy sister Anna from the Tekken side of things. Sure, a sexy lady fighter is a dime a dozen, so I’m not that sad about Anna, but Dan? Dan’s amazing. His pure bravado is just so over the top, and I for one would love to see him fight with Poison.

So how do we know they were cut? Well, Siliconera had an interview with Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono. In addition to teasing out some details about the game, how it plays, and all that goodness, they were able to confirm this duo as not making it in the game. The entire roster has been decided, and the thoughts on Dan and Anna is that Dan was killed last year at Comic-Con, and Anna is just secondary to Nina. I’m still hoping they can squeeze more oddities like Poison. She’s fantastic.
