Capcom to Release Street Fighter IV AE Boxart

A printing error on the Xbox 360 versions of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition has prompted Capcom to provide everyone with 360 / PS3 cover art for the game. The error is relatively minor – the 360 cover says “Xbox” instead of “Xbox 360.”

However, if you happen to own Super Street Fighter IV, you can download the AE DLC, print the cover art out at a local print shop, and have a fancy looking case to match.

The new art will be created by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, who worked on the character art for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition. Rad move, Capcom. Rad.

No word on when the new boxart will be available, but it shouldn’t take more than a few weeks. I already know what this means for my future.

1. I’ll see the art and think it looks awesome.
2. I’ll print out the art and (finally) buy the AE DLC.
3. I’ll try to play as Yang and get my ass whipped for two hours straight.
4. Uncontrollable crying.
