Rumor: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Details Leaked

Kotaku’s conducting the Modern Warfare express straight to spoilertown by revealing loads of multiplayer details from the coming game. A lot of the report is vague and noncommittal, which is understandable considering they’re probably working with unreliable information. At any rate, here are the high points.

MW3 will include a wave-based survival mode, as is the vogue with shooters these days. In addition, the co-op Spec Ops mode from Modern Warfare 2 will return. Zombies, however, will not – the were never Infinity Ward’s bag anyway.

The report also describes “team perks,” but doesn’t go into great detail into how these are earned or used. These perks provide basic advantages such as increased damage, heath regeneration, and flash grenade immunity.

1) they’re bringing back noob tubes
2) nobody likes spec ops and now it might be a requisite for unlocking good/better stuff
3) really, raven/sledgehammer? You guys are listening to IW, who was fired by activision for making MW2 suck? What the fuck is up with that stopping power/juggernaut bullshit? Listen to the fucking community!

@Lactosefree1 It has been confirmed that there is no Stopping Power in MW3. Dont believe everything you see. Especially from kotaku. Here is the proof that these details are fake. Almost that entire article is fake.

what the fuck! no zombies? i under stand that infinity ward is making this, but come on! zombies is what made world at war sell so good and in in black ops that was a huge selling point to! i personaly will be devastated to see it go, i love the intracit (if thats how you spell it)
story line and beatuafull levels. mw3 would be vantastic with zombies! new guns and even more stylish levels. but no, i guess it was to good to be true. i hope treyarch will continue to make more maps though.

Both Lactose and Infernal are wrong. Infinity Ward is a name…They also did get into HUGE legal issues with Activision but Infinity Ward was still in the contract to make modern warfare games. So they are not fired, just a name to dodge the contract. Activision hired Sledghammer or whats them face to actually make the game

Juggernaut wasn’t in MW2, and stopping power wasn’t cheap in any way it made the game more fair than black ops because now we have cunts like you who ruin the whole game running around with ghost and a famas suppresor. IW was not fired by Activision, they in fact left because Activision cheated them out of money gained from the SUCCESS of MW2,you are saying that the fastest selling game of all time sucks because(most likely), you cant quickscope or are repetitively killed by people doing so, in other words your bitching cause you Suck?
