A console version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has rolled through every sign of existence short of a full press release. First, CD Projekt Senior Producer Tomasz Gop gave this heavy wink wink nudge nudge to Eurogamer yesterday, in reference to a coming announcement at E3.
“I can’t say anything obviously for gazillions of reasons but it is a Witcher game,” Gop said, “and I can say that console gamers might be interested in it.”
And today, the ESRB rated an Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 — notably only the Xbox 360. The rating has apparently since been removed, since I can’t find it anymore.
Having put some time into The Witcher 2, I’m sort of scared to see what cramming that game on a DVD and six year old hardware will do to that game.
